Tony Timpano, Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Virginia Tech Forest Hydrology and Soils Lab and a former doctoral student of Dr. Schoenholtz, has published a paper online in the journal Water Research. The paper is based in part on Dr. Timpano’s dissertation, and discusses the salinization of freshwater streams, and modeling the seasonal cycle of salinity. The title of the paper is “Seasonal pattern of anthropogenic salinization in temperate forested headwater streams.”
