Earlier this month, Virginia Tech installed a new president, Dr. Timothy Sands. This very special occasion was marked by a series of events held across campus, including a faculty parade, an ice cream social, live performances, and an academic showcase of VT research and innovation.
President Sands is now in the process of personally visiting all the Colleges and Institutes that comprise the university. Today, he and Vice Provost Jack Finney visited the College of Natural Resources. While touring Latham Hall with Dean Winistorfer, they stopped by the Schoenholtz Lab to get a brief overview of the “water lab”.
Greeting him were Dr. Schoenholtz, and lab members Tony Timpano, Dave Mitchum, Damion Drover, Kyle Dost, and Lindsay Nolan.
